The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Hosts Coffee Break on Sidelines of CCC9



The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosted a coffee break on the first day of during the Sub-committee on ninth session of Carriage of Cargoes and Containers, held on the 20th of September 2023, at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) building in London.

The Sub-Committee on Carriage of Cargoes and Containers (CCC) deals with the carriage of packaged dangerous goods, solid bulk cargoes, bulk gas cargoes, and containers and is an integral part of the IMO.


The CCC brings together participants registered from 175 Member States including experts, stakeholders, and representatives, to discuss and address critical issues related to the carriage of cargoes and containers. It also allows industry professionals to engage in informal discussions, share insights, and explore potential partnerships or initiatives.


During the event Saudi Arabia presented traditional Saudi Coffee, Arabic sweets and Dates to guests in attendance and the guests were able to learn more about Saudi Arabia’s role as a Council Member and their campaign for re-election for the biennium of 2024-2025.
